Mopar is continuing its factory-vehicle customization program by recently announcing the release of limited edition 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger models, marking the final production year of these iconic vehicles. Since 2010, Mopar has been crafting exclusive, customized versions of Dodge and Ram products, but this year’s release holds particular significance due to bidding farewell to the beloved Challenger and Charger in their current form. To commemorate this momentous occasion, Mopar has decided to offer not one but two special models.

Both the limited edition Challengers and Chargers are based on the R/T Scat Pack Widebody platform, boasting impressive features like widebody fenders, 11-inch-wide wheels, a powerful 485-horsepower V8 engine, adaptive suspension, and Brembo brakes. For transmission options, buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic in the Challenger variant.

Also, don’t forget that you can get discounted new car pricing with a free quote through qualified local dealer partners.

The most notable changes from the standard R/T Scat Pack Widebody lie in the cosmetic enhancements made by Mopar. Both models are elegantly painted in gloss black with striking blue and matte black stripes running over the top of the cars. The eye-catching theme continues with black wheels and vibrant blue brake calipers. At the rear, Mopar adds an exclusive carbon fiber spoiler, adding an extra touch of aerodynamic finesse.

Inside the vehicles, a few unique features set the limited editions apart. Notably, there’s a special serial number badge on the dash, emphasizing the exclusivity of these models. Additionally, Mopar includes a metal certificate of authenticity and a poster featuring a design rendering to further commemorate the significance of these vehicles.

To make the deal even more enticing, the Mopar-customized Challengers and Chargers come with several optional packages as standard. The packages included are the Alpine Audio Group, Carbon Suede Interior Package, Plus Package, and Mopar Interior Appearance Group. These packages add an array of luxurious and performance-oriented features, such as an upgraded sound system with a subwoofer, carbon fiber interior trim, suede headliner, aluminum door sills and pedals, Mopar floor mats, and leather and Alcantara seats with heating and ventilation. Furthermore, the heated power-adjustable steering wheel adds a touch of comfort to the driving experience.

For those looking to get their hands on these exclusive models, time is of the essence, as only 440 units will be produced in total, with 220 of each model (Challenger and Charger) being made. The United States will receive 200 units of each, while Canada will get 20 of each. Priced at $3,995 on top of the cost of a Charger or Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody, these limited editions offer a compelling value for enthusiasts and collectors alike. The Challenger is expected to start at $58,850 (including destination and adding another $1,000 for Gas Guzzler Tax), while the Charger will begin at $61,915.

To secure one of these exclusive models, interested buyers are advised to reach out to their local Dodge dealers. Production is set to commence in September, with deliveries estimated to begin in October. So, eager enthusiasts should act swiftly to experience the thrilling combination of Mopar’s customization expertise and the legendary performance of the Dodge Challenger and Charger before they bid farewell in their current form.
