The 2025 Porsche Panamera lineup has expanded with the introduction of the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and Panamera GTS variants, showcasing the brand’s flagship and enthusiast-focused models. The Panamera GTS, designed for purists, boasts a robust 493-horsepower V8 engine and minimalistic enhancements to emphasize performance. On the other hand, the Turbo S E-Hybrid is a powerhouse, delivering a remarkable 771 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, positioning it ahead of competitors like the 717-horsepower BMW M5 and setting new performance benchmarks.

Porsche has meticulously revamped the Panamera lineup throughout 2024. Early in the year, the standard model and Turbo E-Hybrid were introduced as 2024 models, followed by the E-Hybrid, GTS, and Turbo S E-Hybrid set for 2025. This update results in six distinct engine variants for the luxury sedan, offering a wide range of performance options:

  • Base: 348 hp, 368 lb-ft
  • E-Hybrid: 463 hp, 479 lb-ft
  • GTS: 493 hp, TBD lb-ft
  • S E-Hybrid: 536 hp, 553 lb-ft
  • Turbo E-Hybrid: 670 hp, 685 lb-ft
  • Turbo S E-Hybrid: 771 hp, 737 lb-ft

While Porsche has not disclosed the updated torque figure for the GTS, it’s expected to retain the 457 lb-ft from its predecessor. The GTS variant sees a modest increase of 20 horsepower over the previous model, alongside interior and technology updates. The estimated curb weight for the GTS is around 4,600 pounds.

For the Turbo S E-Hybrid, the curb weight remains unspecified, but it’s likely to be close to the 5,300 pounds of the standard Turbo E-Hybrid. Despite their substantial weight, both models exhibit impressive acceleration and speed. The Turbo S E-Hybrid can achieve a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, outpacing the standard Turbo by 0.2 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 202 mph, 7 mph faster than the standard Turbo.

Enhancements for the Turbo S E-Hybrid include a new carbon fiber aero kit (Aerokit) and Michelin performance tires, tailored for lap record pursuits. These additions contribute an extra 132 pounds of downforce, aiding in high-speed stability and performance.

The 2025 Panamera GTS and Turbo S E-Hybrid are slated to hit dealerships in the first quarter of 2025. Pricing starts at $156,195 for the GTS and $228,495 for the Turbo S E-Hybrid, both including destination charges. Porsche enthusiasts can anticipate a blend of raw power, luxury, and cutting-edge technology in these latest additions to the Panamera lineup.
