2024 Mercedes-Benz E Class Priced Starting at $62,300

Mercedes-Benz has recently disclosed the pricing details for its 2024 E-Class, part of the W214 generation. Unveiled in 2023, the latest iteration of the E-Class boasts a more streamlined exterior design, an extensive array of technological features within the cabin, and a higher starting price compared to its predecessor.

Upon launch, consumers can choose between two models: the E350 4Matic and E450 4Matic, both featuring all-wheel drive. These prices incorporate a mandatory $1,150 destination charge. To have some perspective of pricing increases, the outgoing 2023 E350 starts at $57,900 (including destination) with rear-wheel-drive and $60,400 with 4Matic all-wheel-drive. In comparison, BMW’s rival, the 530i from the G60 generation, begins at $58,895 for the base, rear-wheel-drive model, with an additional $2,300 for all-wheel drive.Mercedes-Benz has not yet revealed plans for a rear-wheel-drive version in the United States. The base E-Class includes features such as an AMG body kit, LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, a 14.4-inch touchscreen for the third-generation MBUX infotainment system, and a surround-view camera. Upgrading to the Pinnacle trim introduces enhancements like an illuminated grille, a head-up display, and active ambient lighting with sound visualization. Optional extras include a Burmester 4D surround-sound system, the MBUX Superscreen Package with a 12.3-inch display for the front passenger and a selfie camera, among other features. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz offers an option package bundling a rear-wheel steering system and an air suspension system.

The E350 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the E450 features a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine producing 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both engines incorporate a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Mercedes-Benz dealers across the United States are expected to receive the 2024 E-Class in the coming weeks. Furthermore, enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the E-Class wagon, referred to as the S214 internally, is set to make a return but we have not confirmed specific details as of yet.
