VinFast, the Vietnamese global electric vehicle manufacturer, has taken roots in the U.S. market by officially sealing agreements with five dealerships spread across four states. This move marks a pivotal moment for VinFast as it establishes a physical presence for its electric vehicles (EVs) in the United States, allowing customers to explore and purchase their innovative offerings.
The initial group of VinFast dealers includes Leith VinFast in Raleigh, North Carolina; Smith Haven VinFast in St. James, New York; Principle VinFast Grapevine in Grapevine, Texas; Hiley VinFast of Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas; and VinFast Wichita in Wichita, Kansas. These dealerships will kickstart their operations by offering the VinFast VF 8 all-electric SUV, with plans to introduce the VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9 models once they make their debut in the U.S. market.

One distinctive aspect that sets VinFast apart is its comprehensive aftersales policies. All customers who purchase or lease a VinFast electric vehicle are entitled to a 10-year/125,000-mile warranty for the vehicle and a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery under non-commercial use. This commitment to customer satisfaction underscores VinFast’s dedication to delivering not only high-quality electric vehicles but also excellent service and support.
Ms. Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at VinFast Global, emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating, “This is an important step affirming VinFast’s commitment to expanding its retail sales network and shortening the time to deliver our products to market.” She further highlighted that collaboration with dealers enables VinFast to swiftly offer U.S. customers access to top-notch electric vehicles with competitive pricing and outstanding aftersales policies, aligning with their mission for a sustainable future.

VinFast is ambitiously planning to expand its dealer network to encompass 125 points of sale across the United States. In addition to these dealership partnerships, VinFast has already established 13 retail stores and service centers in California, showcasing a comprehensive approach to providing support for their electric vehicles. This strategic move positions VinFast as a formidable player in the growing U.S. electric vehicle market, poised to contribute to the broader goal of promoting sustainability in the automotive industry.
