Ford is introducing an exciting update to its 2024 Bronco Sport lineup, drawing inspiration from the past to create the Free Wheeling Special Edition. This nostalgic appearance package pays homage to its late 1970s counterpart, which was not only available for the classic Bronco but also for other Ford models such as the F-100, F-150, Econoline, and the Courier. Now, the boxy compact crossover is reliving the past with a captivating blend of red, orange, and yellow gradients.
True to its historical counterpart, the 2024 Bronco Sport Free Wheeling exudes vintage charm with reflective graphics adorning the hood and tailgate. The 17-inch wheels are given red accents, while the front grille boasts a silver finish. Complementing the retro look, black mirrors, bumpers, and roof add a touch of sophistication, while the dashboard and seats feature striking red and orange pinstriping.
Also, don’t forget that you can get discounted new car pricing with a free quote through qualified local dealer partners.
Ford proudly presents the Bronco Sport Free Wheeling as a limited-run special edition based on the Badlands trim level. With a starting price of $33,730 (excluding $1,595 destination charges), it carries a $2,500 premium over the base trim. To cater to individual preferences, Ford’s website offers a configurator displaying seven body colors and various packages and options. However, this special edition is only available with the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive.
For those seeking a more understated appearance, the 2024 Bronco Sport also offers the Black Appearance Package. This option includes a carbon black grille, matte black 17-inch wheels, and a dark roof. The Ford badge receives a smoked chrome finish, while the hood features matte black graphics. Inside, an appealing black bucking Bronco badge enhances the airbag cover.
The Black Appearance Package is exclusively offered for the Big Bend trim at an additional cost of $1,750. However, it cannot be combined with the Black Diamond Off-Road Package or the Shadow Black paint option.
The 2024 Bronco Sport introduces two new colors: Azure Gray and Desert Sand. Unfortunately, these colors are not available for the Free Wheeling or Heritage variants. Ford has already begun accepting orders for the updated Bronco Sport lineup, giving customers the opportunity to embrace both the past and the present in their choice of vehicle.
