The brand has revealed that the Traveler SUV and Terra pickup will have a driving range of up to 350 miles on a single charge. Though Scout hasn’t released full specs yet, the performance figures teased are impressive. With an estimated 1,000 pound-feet of torque, both models are expected to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 3.5 seconds. These numbers hint that Scout’s electric powertrains won’t sacrifice the brand’s legendary off-road capability for speed.
Scout is serious about its off-road roots, and the new Traveler and Terra will be equipped to handle the toughest terrains. As fully electric vehicles, the new Scouts are equipped with cutting-edge charging technology. They will use the North American Charging Standard (NACS) and offer up to 350 kW of charging capability, thanks to their 800-volt architecture.
