The 2025 Nissan Armada is set to make a statement with its comprehensive redesign. This three-row SUV has been reimagined from the ground up, featuring a sharper exterior, a tech-centric interior, and a powerful new engine. For the first time in the U.S., the Armada is also available in a rugged off-road Pro-4X trim.

Under the hood, the 2025 Armada boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, inherited from the Infiniti QX80, delivering 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. This marks a significant upgrade over the previous V8, offering 25 more horsepower and an additional 103 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard adaptive four-wheel drive, the Armada is designed for both power and versatility.

Nissan has also enhanced the Armada’s structural integrity, with a 25% increase in torsional rigidity and a 57% improvement in lateral stiffness. These upgrades not only enhance the ride quality but also bolster the vehicle’s off-road capabilities, especially with the new Pro-4X trim. This off-road variant features 20-inch all-terrain tires, an adaptive air suspension, a metal skid plate, and an electronic locking rear differential—a feature previously exclusive to the Nissan Patrol in the Middle East. With 9.6 inches of ground clearance and improved approach, breakover, and departure angles, the Armada Pro-4X is built for adventure.

For those seeking luxury, the new Platinum Reserve model offers premium features, including exclusive 22-inch wheels, massaging front seats, a head-up display, and a sleek rear LED light bar. The 2025 Armada also comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. New technology for 2025 includes a wide front-view camera with 170-degree visibility and an “invisible” hood feature on select models.

Nissan’s Pro Pilot Assist is standard across all trims, with the SL and above offering the advanced Pro Pilot 2.1 system for hands-free highway driving and automatic lane changes. Inside, dual 12.3-inch screens are standard, while higher trims feature dual 14.3-inch displays with Google integration, including maps, assistant, and the Play Store. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard.

Although pricing for the 2025 Armada has yet to be announced, Nissan assures that it will remain competitive with rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, and Toyota Sequoia. The new Armada is expected to hit dealerships later this year, promising a blend of power, technology, and off-road prowess.
