The third-generation Acura RDX has received subtle updates for 2025, refining an already popular crossover. First introduced in 2018 and last refreshed in 2022, the RDX’s latest facelift includes exterior and interior tweaks that enhance its appeal.

Exterior Enhancements

The 2025 RDX sports a new “Frameless” Diamond Pentagon grille featuring a redesigned mesh and a slimmer bezel, giving the front end a sleeker look. Standard gloss-black trim and new Berlina Black 19-inch wheels add to its modern aesthetic. Acura introduces three new color options: Solar Silver Metallic, Canyon River Blue Metallic, and Urban Gray Pearl, also available on the 2025 MDX.

Also, don’t forget that you can get discounted new car pricing with a free quote through qualified local dealer partners.

For those opting for the Advance Package, the RDX features body-color lower exterior trim and multi-spoke 19-inch wheels with a Bernie Black machine finish. The A-Spec models boast a bolder black-out treatment, 20-inch wheels, and distinctive badging. Specifically, the regular RDX A-Spec comes with new 10-spoke wheels in Shark Gray, while the A-Spec Advance gets exclusive 20-inch wheels with a Berlina Black machine finish.

Interior Updates

Inside, the RDX sees a redesigned center console with repositioned and enlarged cup holders, now accommodating the wireless charging pad previously located in the under-console cubby. The standard 10.2-inch center infotainment display now features a widescreen mode for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The Advance Package adds luxurious touches such as full-leather upholstery, new ambient lighting for the center console, and illuminated door speakers. Unfortunately, Acura does not update the infotainment screen for touch functionally as they did in the new updated 2025 Acura MDX.

Performance

Under the hood, the 2025 RDX continues to utilize the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This power is managed by a 10-speed automatic transmission and Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system, standard across the lineup.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Acura RDX will arrive at US dealerships later this month. While pricing details are yet to be announced, the 2024 model started at $45,700, with the A-Spec priced at $51,350, and the top-tier A-Spec Advance beginning at $55,500. It’s anticipated that the 2025 model will see a slight increase in price.

With these thoughtful updates, the 2025 Acura RDX continues to blend style, performance, and technology, ensuring it remains a competitive option in the luxury crossover segment.
